My passion for creating with my hands began in childhood. I've always been driven to craft something tactile—something I could truly hold. After attending art school and exploring photography I found that developing film in the darkroom was the only aspect truly captivated me. Although I dabbled in printmaking, it didn't resonate with me, so I shifted my focus to horticulture. Years of designing gardens and landscapes for others fueled my desire to return to a tactile art form. In the summer of 2023, I began exploring stained glass in a small storage closet off my back deck. As a mostly self-taught artist, I gradually built my equipment and supplies, blending horticulture and art backgrounds in this new medium. Many of my projects intertwine these two worlds.
